According to the assumptions of the project, the materials that have been prepared for the e-resource are aimed at presenting typical professional situations in the context of the language of a given industry. The range of professional tasks performed by a modern textile machine operator includes: 1. preparing raw materials and semi-finished products for manufacturing and finishing textile products; 2. operating machines and devices used to manufacture and finish textile products; 3. manufacturing textile products; 4. finishing textile products. When it comes to a textile technician, their work concentrates, in addition to the tasks stemming from the first qualifications in AU.07, on the following: 1. developing the technical and technological documentation of textile products; 2. manufacturing textile products; 3. finishing textile products; 4. supervising the production and finishing processes of textile products. The range of professional tasks performed by a modern textile craftsman includes: 1. preparing raw materials and semi-finished products for the manufacturing of handcrafted textile products; 2. operating machines and devices used to manually manufacture textile products; 3. manufacturing and finishing handcrafted textile products; 4. performing works related to the conservation and renovation of decorative textile products. When it comes to a decorative textile products technician, their work concentrates, in addition to the tasks stemming from the first qualifications in AU.18, on the following: 1. designing decorative textile products; 2. preparing the technical documentation of decorative textile products; 3. manufacturing and finishing decorative textile products; 4. performing works related to the conservation and renovation of decorative textile products. The range of professional tasks is in line with what the student will learn at the school preparing them to perform the given professions. The introduction of compulsory foreign language learning is an innovative step taken by vocational schools. Knowledge of a foreign language is becoming increasingly important in professional work. It enables graduates to read industry press, participate in foreign training courses, undertake work or cooperate with foreign entities. The employees themselves, who can be employed in EU countries at any time as a result of the opening of labor markets, are also interested in raising their linguistic competence. To meet these expectations, we provide the teachers and students of Polish vocational schools with e-resources for learning the professional foreign language of the profession of a textile machine operator (815204), textile technician (311932), textile craftsman (731808) and a decorative textile products technician (311931). Among the prepared materials you can find, among others, films, animations, hypertexts that introduce material and didactic games and resources to check the level of content acquisition (mainly exercises). We encourage everyone to use them!*
